Top Secret Drum Corps is a accuracy drum corps which based in Basel, Switzerland. Top Secret Drum Corps is the first ever non-military band which performed in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2003 and after their first successful performance of their six minute routine with 25 drummers and color guard members; Edinburgh Tattoo were invited that band in 2006 with some improved and new routines and then they were invited in 2009, 2012 and again in 2015. The first performance of Top Secret Drum Corps in Edinburgh Military Tattoo made them famous. Top Secret Drum Corps is the first non-military, non-British Commonwealth performers who have been performed in the public walk at Edinburgh Castle. Erik Julliard was the leader of the band and due the Top Secret Drum Corps band Basel Tattoo found just like similar to Edinburgh Tattoo but it held annually in Basel only.

Top Secret band has their unique Drumming style. They have roots in the ironic drumming traditions of the band’s home city which is located in Basel, Switzerland which is identified for its annual carnival that called Fasnacht. The amazing thing of that city is that it has over 3,000 active drummers any time. These drummers show their talent in traditional events like Fasnacht, the Vogel Gryff and Charivari. These drummers also performed in some parades related with the city’s guild. Basel drumming is actually derived from military drumming drills of Swiss soldiers of middle ages. Top Secret follows by the military nature of Basel drumming in many ways but much different in many respects. Top Secrets Drum Corps members belongs to loyal college students with different day jobs, bankers, civil servants and factory workers etc. they devoted their extra time to practice nearly every day of the year and due to different nature of work, its membership changes frequently.
