Edinburgh’s 12 Festivals to entertain fans in Scotland

Last nine months of the year will be full of festivals season in Scotland and it will be started on Saturday with the Science festival which will be also family-friendly. Many of you people heard about the Edinburgh festival which always kicked off on every August. Actually there are five festivals takes place in which the Fringe, the Edinburgh International Festival, a Book Festival, a World MusicWeekender and the Military Tattoo included. But it is not end here, there is also world’s biggest children’s theater festival organized in the Scotland’s capital at the end of May and also included a Jazz festival. There are the all whole list where you all see that when the festival season will start.

On 26th March, Saturday Edinburgh International Science Festival will kicked off which will be the world’s first and Europe’s largest science festival. This festival will continue to two weeks especially for all the families during all the holidays of Easter where youngsters will get a chance to try surgery using real endoscopes in the workshop as well as will also get a chance to build a planet using Lego model of Mars as motivation and chance to see a real-life astronaut.
Imaginate Festival will be start from 28th May to 5th June, the festival where children of all ages will perform according to their suitable acts. It is also known as the greatest children’s theater from UK and around the World. Stories of Scotland’s history, Tales of Grandson, Swedish based story Little Gentleman and time-traveling adventure included in that year’s festival.
Edinburgh International Film Festival will kicked off from 15th June to 26th June and it will be the 70th world’s longest continually film festival. Films of the festival will be announced on the start of May.
The Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival will be start from 15th July to 24th July. In this festival, the music is coordinated with some great venues including a 17th century church turned hip jazz club, a Spiegeltent with magic mirrors and the luxurious Festival Theater.
Edinburgh Art Festival will be kicked off from 28th July to 28th August. This festival is the UK’s largest visual art festival where capital’s leading galleries, museums and artist-run spaces, together with new public art commissions and emerging artists seems. The interesting thing is the festival is that the most of the part of festival is free.

Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo will be kicked off from 5th August to 27th August. It considered the greatest show on the Earth and most of the attractive thanks goes to Edinburgh Castle for the background of that festival where massed military pipes and drums and massed military bands performs from all around the world. This year’s festival is for tribute the Queen’s 90th Birthday. In this Festival Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Edinburgh international Festival, Edinburgh International Book Festival and Edinburgh Mela included.

Scottish international Storytelling Festival will be start from 21st October to 30th October. In that festival stories is not made for just only for kids or children but also stories included inspired from Ceilidh tradition. This festival together the international and Scottish storytellers and musicians as well as continue to 10 day celebration of live storytelling.
Edinburgh’s Hogmanay will be start from 30th December to 1st January 2017. Edinburgh’s celebrations of New Year are the World’s famous festivals. In this festival tens of thousands citizens walk with torch lights through the city.
